Pakistan’s unemployment issue is very grave and growing. It rose to 5.7% in 2014, from 5.3% in 2013. Empower Pakistan is aiming to address this issue, by raising more self-employed individuals, hence more jobs.

In a parallel universe, an estimated $10 Billion has been spent through the Internet Freelancing Marketplaces in the past 5 years alone, proving it to be an extremely stable market, growing at a rate of 25% per-annum.

Empower Pakistan is striving to connect the educated yet unemployed and/or underpaid human resource of Pakistan to this booming Freelancing industry, which will in the longer run provide an answer to our grave problems. The self-employed individuals raised from our workshops will be further trained to create their own teams and hence more employment opportunities. We have devised three levels, to empower Pakistan.

• Level 1 : Skill Development Workshops
• Level 2 : Learn to Earn through Freelancing
• Level 3 : Leadership & Team Building

We have so far arranged three workshops of Level-1, in the last 8 months since inception, where we were able to create 29 successful Freelancers, who secured 861 jobs through the internet, and have generated an income worth $66,972, and counting. Average income for each individual stands over a handsome $350 per month.
