Ajmal Paiman is Co-founder and Director of Shetab | Afghanistan Center for Business and Social Innovation. He is a business consultant with extensive experience of working with Afghan business community and entrepreneurs. Economist by training and a Fulbright scholar he worked in the field of enterprise development with many national and international actors in Afghanistan. Ajmal’s practical experience includes working with Afghanistan Enterprise Development and Advisory Program, Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development Program, Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development and Afghanistan National Development Strategy.

As an independent consultant Ajmal provided management and advisory services to Afghan companies to enable them access available financial resources, grant opportunity and technical supports, to scale up and improve their business portfolio. He conducted training and capacity development workshop in the areas of business development, contract management, proposal writing and project management to many Afghan businessmen and women. Ajmal brings practical experience in support of Afghan business; he is very well acquainted with Afghanistan’s business platform and ecosystem.
